OFFGRID

Offgrid is a brand dedicated to offering products that protect consumers devices using Faraday shielding. I have brought three products through production for Offgrid, two of which have received utility patents.

The Offgrid Switch Wallet is an innovative product that functions as an everyday wallet, while offering the user the ability to insert their mobile device when Faraday Shielding is necessary. This project was a challenge to incorporate the layers necessary for card storage and shielding, while ensuring that the two folds functioned correctly and easily.

The Offgrid Extract was designed for service members in the field who would need easy access to their mobile device at a moments notice, and with a single hand. The "Quick Release Pull Tab" gives users a quick and easy way to access their device while leaving their other hand open for other tasks.

The goal of the design for the Offgrid Fold was to create the most compact form factor possible for Faraday shielded product. When folded, the Offgrid Fold line packs into an ultra-compact size that is perfect for storage on a keychain or in a pocket. This allows users to easily keep Faraday shielding with them at all times for any unexpected times where data protection is necessary.
